a pink and red dress, made of satin… covered in flowers, mostly roses (2026)

Elsa (Juliette Ortega) prepares to perform at The Little Onne Theatre, the same stage where her mother once sang. As a child, Elsa and her twin brother would secretly watch their mother from the wings, witnessing the only time she seemed truly alive. Now an adult, Elsa dons her mother's distinctive pink and red satin dress, covered in roses, stepping into a lineage of music and memory. The film traces the quiet weight of that inheritance as Elsa confronts the past in the moments before she sings.

Through fragmented flashbacks and the hushed atmosphere of the theatre, the story explores how art becomes a bridge between generations — and how a garment can hold the shape of a person long gone. The narrative unfolds in real time leading up to Elsa's performance, leaving the outcome of her song, and her reconciliation with her mother's legacy, to the viewer's imagination.
