Mathieu is a successful Parisian lawyer who has worked tirelessly to distance himself from his Turkish heritage to secure his position in the upper echelons of French society. His carefully constructed life of privilege and professional ambition is abruptly disrupted when a young Turkish man, facing a desperate and precarious legal situation, bursts into his life seeking help.
What begins as an act of reluctant charity quickly spirals into a complex web of corruption that threatens to expose the dark secrets of Mathieu's past. As he is drawn deeper into the scandal, Mathieu must navigate the treacherous waters of the legal system and the expectations of his family, forcing him to confront the very identity he tried so hard to suppress.
