About the Soufflé (2026)

Connor (Connor van Helsing) finds himself suddenly unhoused in Darwin, Australia's tropical Top End capital. With no safety net, he drifts into the orbit of a loose collective of local artists, musicians, and makers — Jesse (Jesse Milne), Jack (Thomas Midena), Katerina (Stevie Jean), Roxanne (Tatiana E Silva), and others — who offer temporary shelter and creative camaraderie. As Connor navigates this improvised community, he confronts the personal traumas that preceded his crisis, all while the film captures the distinctive rhythms, landscapes, and social fabric of Darwin itself.
