Absolution (2026)

After a devastating accident takes the life of his pregnant partner Genesis, Lucius (Jordan Salazar) descends into a consuming spiral of grief, survivor's guilt, and a crisis of faith that alienates him from his lifelong friend Angel (Omaree). Set against the dissonant backdrop of Las Vegas, the film traces Lucius's obsessive search for meaning in the aftermath while Angel struggles to reach him across the widening chasm of his withdrawal.

Through fragmented memories and tense present-day encounters, Absolution examines whether redemption is possible when the weight of survival feels indistinguishable from betrayal — and whether friendship can survive when one person refuses to be saved.
