Synopsis

Alan Flatch, a socially awkward drifter, shares a cramped apartment with his charismatic but self‑absorbed friend Ty. When a strange analog device appears in their lives, it offers glimpses of alternate realities where their choices played out differently. As the pair experiment with the machine, the line between comedy and horror blurs, forcing them to confront the monotony of their existence and the cost of trying to rewrite the past.

The film follows their escalating attempts to manipulate the device, introducing a cast of eccentric locals—including a bartender, a mysterious neighbor, and a cryptic figure known only as Mr. Kick—who each hold clues to the device’s origin. The story balances dark humor with surreal mystery, building toward a confrontation that tests whether any version of their lives can truly be improved.
