Synopsis

Corrupt Metropolitan Police detective Kyoji Yabuki (Shun Oguri) navigates Tokyo's underworld while drowning in gambling debts. When the daughter of a prominent politician vanishes, enigmatic FBI agent Nguyen (Lily James) arrives to lead the investigation, forcing an uneasy partnership between the compromised cop and the by-the-book outsider.

As they descend into a labyrinth of yakuza politics, police corruption, and corporate conspiracy, Yabuki's addictions and Nguyen's hidden motives threaten to derail the case — and each other.
