Synopsis

Years after the genetically modified sheep outbreak at the Oldfield station, a young scientist becomes convinced a dangerous new pathogen is spreading — and traces its origin back to the same remote New Zealand high country. Her investigation pulls her into the orbit of Henry Oldfield (Nathan Meister), the reluctant survivor of the original massacre, forcing both to confront what's been festering in the shadows of the woolsheds.

As the infection spreads and the body count rises, the duo must navigate corporate cover-ups, mutated livestock, and their own complicated history with the station — all while wondering if some experiments are never truly finished.
