Buddies and the Heir (2026)

After the sudden death of a wealthy hotelier in Punta del Este, Uruguay, a chaotic chain of events is set in motion. Stallone, a man with Down syndrome who idolized the deceased, becomes convinced that he is the legitimate heir to the grand hotel property. Refusing to wait for the official reading of the will, he decides to take matters into his own hands.

Stallone travels to the resort with a group of his friends from a care institute in Brazil, intending to claim their inheritance by simply occupying the hotel for a week. However, they soon discover they are not alone; Magrelo, a young autistic man who was raised as the deceased's adopted son, is also laying claim to the estate. What begins as a vacation quickly turns into a standoff between two groups of neurodivergent friends, each believing they are the rightful owners of the property.
