Synopsis

Identical twins Abigail and Charlie — one a homebody academic, the other a jet-setting event planner — are facing their first Christmas without their mother. On impulse, they accept a last-minute offer to spend a week managing the Story Shoppe, a combination bookshop and Airbnb in Hay-on-Wye, Wales, the real-life "town of books" that serves as the setting for Abigail's favorite Regency romance novels.

As the sisters navigate running the shop, charming locals, and their own grief, Abigail finds herself drawn to the town's literary magic while Charlie wrestles with the pull of her high-pressure career. Twin-swap complications and holiday traditions ensue, forcing both women to reconsider what — and who — they want in their next chapter.
