Synopsis

Eraserhead Xiu Xiu documents a live concert performance by experimental band Xiu Xiu, directed by Angela Seo, that reimagines David Lynch's 1977 cult classic through field recordings, homemade instruments, modular synthesizers, organ, vocals, flashlights, and electrical interference. The 45-minute piece eschews traditional narrative in favor of an immersive sonic and visual response to the source material's themes of industrial alienation, bodily horror, and psychological fragmentation.
