Synopsis

An autistic documentary filmmaker (Jon Beaton) spends a day shadowing two neurotypical acquaintances, Sarah (Alma Rio Cromstege) and Tom (Lander Merckx), recording their interactions, objects, and social rituals as field data. Through his lens, everyday gestures — how they share space, modulate tone, navigate silence — become specimens in a study of an alien culture.

As afternoon stretches toward evening, the filmmaker's analytical distance begins to fray, revealing a quiet, accumulating sense of isolation beneath the clinical framework.
