Synopsis

In the heart of Goiás, the boundary between reality and fantasy blurs as Fernanda returns to her wealthy uncle's estate following the death of her adoptive mother. Haunted by vague memories and a sense of displacement, she seeks to uncover the painful truth about her origins that her family has long suppressed. The estate, a monument to modern agribusiness, sits uneasily upon ancient indigenous lands, serving as a battleground for conflicting histories.

As Fernanda digs deeper into the past, she encounters figures from a colonial era that seem to manifest in the present, challenging the certainties of her modern life. Her journey is not just one of discovery, but of confrontation, as she must navigate the hostile environment of her uncle's domain and the spiritual weight of the land itself to implode the lies that built her family's fortune.
