Angelo Morte, a gravedigger consumed by grief after his wife's death, continues his solitary work in a quiet cemetery. One night, a stranger calling himself Mr. Grave appears at the gates and offers Angelo a chance to see his beloved again—at a price he cannot fully comprehend.
