Synopsis
Based on the life of Milton Hershey, the film follows his relentless pursuit of a milk‑chocolate recipe that would make candy affordable for everyone. After multiple bankruptcies, he finally strikes gold, building a factory and a town in Pennsylvania. His marriage to Kitty provides both emotional anchor and creative partnership, but when she falls gravely ill, Milton confronts the limits of his optimism and conceives a radical plan: to entrust their vast fortune to a school for orphaned children.
The story weaves together the high‑stakes world of early 20th‑century confectionery, a tender love story, and the birth of a philanthropic legacy that still shapes the brand today.
