Synopsis

Failing birthday clown and cam performer Mary (Jasmyn May) gets voted out of her polycule — a network of interconnected romantic and sexual relationships — and finds herself back in the messy, incestuous world of T4T (trans-for-trans) dating. As she cycles through encounters labeled The New Love, The Cule Love, The Experimental Love, and others, Mary confronts the blurred lines between community, intimacy, and survival in a small queer ecosystem where everyone has already dated everyone else.

Writer-director Chris Hale's micro-budget feature follows Mary's attempt to rebuild connection without the safety net of her former polycule, exploring the particular loneliness of being unwanted by the people who know you best. The film blends awkward comedy, raw vulnerability, and unapologetic insider specificity to depict a corner of queer life rarely centered on screen.
