Late Fame (2026)

Ed Saxberger, a once-celebrated but now largely forgotten New York poet, lives in a state of quiet resignation in his twilight years. His existence is upended when a small, eccentric group of young creatives discovers his unpublished manuscripts, sparking a sudden, fervent interest in his forgotten works. As the poetry begins to circulate within their insular artistic circle, Ed is forced to confront the ghost of his past ambitions and the strange new reality of his late-blooming fame.

Complicating this renaissance is the arrival of Gloria, a charismatic and enigmatic actress whose bewitching presence captivates both the young group and Ed himself. As the lines between mentor and student, and between observer and participant, begin to blur, Ed must navigate the volatile dynamics of this new attention while questioning whether this resurgence is a genuine artistic rebirth or merely a fleeting echo of a life that has already passed.
