Little Genes (2026)

In 1987, fourteen‑year‑old Arlo Murphy joins his parents on a weekend camping trip in Utah's Wasatch Mountains, hoping to earn a World Explorer Scout badge and prove himself to his father. As the family navigates the trails, Arlo's emerging gender identity becomes an unspoken tension, challenging the parents' expectations and their understanding of their child.

The short follows the trio through quiet moments by the fire, hikes along ridgelines, and the subtle negotiations that occur when love and identity collide, offering a snapshot of a pivotal weekend without prescribing a definitive outcome.
