Other Mommy (2026)

Eleven-year-old Bela (Arabella Olivia Clark) struggles to connect with her exhausted mother Ursula (Jessica Chastain) after a family tragedy. When a presence begins appearing in their home — looking exactly like Ursula but offering the attention and warmth Bela craves — she forms a secret bond with this "Other Mommy." As the entity's influence grows, Bela must navigate a tightening web of manipulation while her father Russ (Jay Duplass) and grandmother Ruth (Karen Allen) remain dangerously unaware of what's taken root in their house.

Directed by Rob Savage from a screenplay by Josh Malerman and Nathan Elston, Other Mommy explores the terrifying space between a child's longing and a monster's patience, asking what happens when the person who should protect you becomes the thing you need protection from.
