Synopsis

Brilliant British defence barrister Tessa Ensler (Cynthia Erivo) dominates London’s courtrooms with wit and ruthless skill, defending men accused of sexual assault. Her world fractures when she is assaulted by a colleague from a powerful legal family. Suddenly subjected to the same aggressive tactics she once employed, Tessa watches the system she trusted turn against her, forcing her to fight for her voice and sense of self.
