Royal Ballet & Opera 2026/27: The Nutcracker (2026)

The Royal Ballet's annual production of The Nutcracker follows young Clara as she receives a mysterious wooden nutcracker doll at her family's Christmas Eve party. After the clock strikes midnight, the toy comes to life, leading Clara into a fantastical battle against the Mouse King and a journey through the Land of Snow to the Kingdom of Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy presides over a series of dazzling divertissements.

Filmed live during the 2026/27 season at the Royal Opera House, this presentation captures the company's principal dancers, corps de ballet, and orchestra in Peter Wright's classic staging, complete with the iconic growing Christmas tree and a blizzard of stage snow.
