Karla, a promising young runner whose life is derailed by a bone cancer diagnosis, finds herself navigating the sterile corridors of a hospital and the unique warmth of a halfway house. Stripped of her physical capabilities, she must confront a future that no longer aligns with her athletic dreams. The film follows her initial resistance to her new reality as she struggles to find a new sense of purpose.

Within the walls of this transitional home, Karla encounters a diverse group of residents, each carrying their own burdens and hidden hopes. Under the guidance of the compassionate Bu Andin and the support of fellow residents like Luki and Toni, Karla begins to understand that life is not defined solely by physical prowess. As they bond over shared struggles, the group embarks on a collective journey to realize a final, shared ambition that transcends their individual ailments.
