Synopsis
In the small Virginia community of Brownsburg, residents gather in informal settings to reflect on the town's entangled histories of race, slavery, and faith. Through a series of unstructured conversations, elders and younger generations share personal memories, inherited stories, and divergent perspectives on how the past shapes their present. As tradition collides with modern life, the film captures a community in transition — neither resolving its tensions nor ignoring them.
