The Cover Up (2026)

Following the 2021 discovery of 215 unmarked graves at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School, The Cover Up traces the decades-long struggle of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis survivors to have their testimonies of abuse, medical experimentation, and murder believed. Through survivor interviews, archival records, and expert commentary, the documentary examines how the Catholic Church and Canadian government constructed a system of cultural genocide — and how institutional power suppressed the truth until physical evidence forced a global reckoning.
