The Days Off (2026)

In a near-future Argentina gripped by an endless summer, 12-year-old Bego finds herself adrift within her own family and social circle as a massive solar eclipse approaches. The oppressive heat and the looming celestial event seem to distort reality, causing animals and people around her to behave erratically, hinting at a deeper rupture in the fabric of their world.

Seeking refuge from her isolation, Bego connects with REN__, an enigmatic online friend who introduces her to "shifting," a controversial practice where teenagers claim to lucid dream their way into alternate realities. As the eclipse draws near, Bego must navigate the blurred lines between her waking life and these accessed dimensions, struggling to discern if she is truly finding a place to belong or merely losing her grip on what is real.
