The Neighbourhood is Changing (2026)

The Neighbourhood is Changing is a documentary that revisits the creation of Jim Mickle’s 2006 indie horror feature Mulberry Street. Through new interviews with the director, producers, cinematographer, production designer, and several cast members, the film traces the project's origins, the challenges of shooting on location in New York City, and the unexpected festival success that cemented its cult status.

The documentary blends archival behind‑the‑scenes material with present‑day reflections, offering a chronological look at how a modest budget and practical effects shaped a film that continues to influence low‑budget genre cinema.
