Tomorrow a Long Time Ago (2026)

In the turbulent aftermath of German reunification, Patty faces a double loss: her job vanishes, and her closest friend, Jelena, slips away into the shadows of a changing society. Broken and displaced, Patty retreats into the historic, dense forests of the Kyffhäuser mountains, disappearing from the lives of those she once knew, leaving behind a trail of confusion and unanswered questions.

Thirty years later, Patty reappears in the nearby town, startlingly unchanged by the decades that have passed.
