while I was away (2026)

Four friends — Clara, Sienna, Leo, and Maya — spend a seemingly ordinary afternoon together, laughing and reminiscing. As the day progresses, Clara begins to feel an inexplicable distance from the group, and fleeting, dreamlike moments blur the line between shared memory and personal isolation.

The short unfolds in real time, using subtle visual cues and a restrained soundscape to suggest a deeper, unspoken tension beneath the surface of their camaraderie.
