Synopsis

In October 1985, Alex Odeh — a Palestinian American teacher, poet, and West Coast director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee — was killed instantly when a tripwire bomb exploded as he opened his Santa Ana office door. The FBI identified suspects linked to a Jewish extremist group, yet no one was ever charged. Decades later, filmmaker Jason Osder embeds with a team of investigators, journalists, and Odeh's family as they pursue newly declassified records, overlooked witnesses, and legal pressure to finally force accountability.

The documentary unfolds as a living investigation, capturing breakthroughs and dead ends in real time while reconstructing the political climate of 1980s Orange County, where rising anti-Arab sentiment and extremist violence went largely unchecked by authorities.
