Zombucha! (2026)

After losing their jobs on the same disastrous day, couple Maddie and Leo (Stephen Hunter, Brigid Zengeni) steal a prized kombucha culture from charismatic artisan Kai (Duncan Fellows) to launch their own beverage business. Desperate to differentiate their product, they add exotic herbs from a neighbor's garden — only to discover the SCOBY has developed a taste for more than sugar.

As the culture grows sentient, mobile, and murderous, Maddie and Leo must navigate a fracturing relationship while containing a biologically improbable threat spreading through their suburban neighborhood. With the body count rising and their startup dreams curdling, the pair face a final confrontation that tests whether their partnership can survive a monster of their own making.
